Reality Vs Dogma
This film / video, though a human creation, is well done and closer to the real world, day to day experiences, than the currently expressed dogma of any religion, however old they may be.

There is, a Force for Life, in the Universe, but it has nothing to do with Man. We are a very small part of the process of this evolution. We are currently experimenting with ways to cause our extinction, and destroy, in a few hundred years, what Nature has made possible, over billions of orbits of this ( particular ) planet.
How then does anyone ( think ? ), we are special ? It takes a deranged mind to believe there is a God, in the image of a man, anywhere in the Cosmos. -

Great movie
k FOR THE RECORD, this movie isn't about "evolution from the cro-magnon era to the present". Nathan Southern obviously had no idea what he was talking about when he wrote the editorial review. We are living IN the cro-magnon era. We ARE cro-magnons.

So this story is about a fictional cro-magnon who happened to survive from waaaay back when cro-magnons had been around for about 4,000 years (14,000 years ago) to the present, and watched his species (or our species - same thing) grow from tribes to city states to countries etc. This movie is a fascinating account of his long life.
If you're big into special effects and don't like using your imagination, go away.
Also for the record I am a math major. I'm not a geologist. Everyone should know their basic science. Nathan Southern is a god awful writer. He should retake high school. -

AMAZING SCI-FI FILM!!!
Written by acclaimed sci-fi author Jerome Bixby (who apparently finished this on his death bed), who also wrote "Mirror Mirror" for Star Trek, "It's A Good Life" for the Twilight Zone & the film Fantastic Voyage, "The Man From Earth" is an thoughtful & entertaining character study not like any movie I have seen in decades. What it lacks in locations and special effects MORE than makes up in tension and smart dialouge that I haven't seen on film since "12 Angry Men". If you are fan of Star Trek, Twilight Zone or Sci-Fi in general, you should BUY THIS MOVIE. You won't be disapointed.
