AWFUL! LACK OF STORY EQUALS 10X EFFECT!

The new matrix film entirely lacked as compelling a plot as the original, introduced characters that lacked chemistry with others and was made specifically to make your jaw drop at the amazing yet shallow special effects

I Agree, the original Matrix is nothing compared to the sequel!!!

In response to Joseph Burt, the Matrix is nothing compared to the sequel, it's so much better. Reloaded is a montage of flashy CGI, stupid philosophy that goes nowhere, and cheap action scenes that defy my imagination only in the respect that I can't beleive they thought this was actually good!!! Acting: terrible. Direction: what direction? Story: I already forgot it. The original relied on a cool, interesting premise never done before, and took time to set that up in a clever, brain-gripping way. The second movie, drops suspence and imagination for 'how many CGI effects can we cram into a 2 hour movie'. Swartzy is the king of action, not Neo, so stick with the sci-fi epic that the first movie created. Please, respond, I can argue much longer!
