    Totally SUPERBLESS!!!

I always loved ghost and scary stories, but not as scary as this movie. When I first watched this movie, I always hide under the cushion. What a STUPID movie! Not only is it like WAY too scary, it's also S-T-U-P-I-D. I'd give this movie below zero if I could! For those, who loved this movie, I recommend you to stop loving it and try another movie instead, such as 'The Others'. That's a sensible story, and much, much, much more CLEVER than this movie! What with the girl (dunno her name [didn't care, anyway]) gets killed because the moving glasses had 'stucked' her. Sorry Steve Beck (at least kind of me to even remember your name), but you are a totally minus 99-rated director!

Not only lousy but a rip-off besides

I'd give this no stars if I could; I'm mad at myself for wasting 4 bucks to rent this piece of junk (I almost took up Hollywood Video on their ''money back if you don't like it'' offer but didn't, fearing a possible argument with a clerk who might actually try to convince me it was good). Terrible, atrocious acting, almost incomprehensible plot, and the cardinal sin of a movie whose main claim to fame is its state of the art effects - you barely get to see the ghosts. From what I could see of them they looked pretty good, and I probably would have given it 2 or 3 stars just for the make-up alone. But for some unknown reason they appear for at most a few seconds per scene, not even enough time to focus, really. To me this is not only poor film-making but an outright rip-off of the audience, most of whom I am sure came to see the ghosts. I have no idea why they would do this. Watching/buying this would be an outrageous waste of time and money. By contrast, if you want to see how good a ghost movie can be, watch ''The Others''.
