$$$ Money, Power, Respect, Do You Have Them?

"The Family That Preys," starring Alfre Woodard, Kathy Bates, Sanaa Lathan, Rockmond Dunbar, Kadee Strickland, Cole Hauser, Taraji P. Henson, Robin Givens, and Tyler Perry is rated PG-13 due to the sexual references, violence, and thematic material, yet it is a quality DVD. Some people control others through $$$ money, power over them, or disrespect of them. This was a well-developed storyline with a great script and background. The truth will be revealed as you get to "know" each character. Learn what motivates people to "prey" on others and what it will cost as you observe the characters of this movie. You will learn about friendship between matriarchs and take a "trip" to the strip club. A great storyline and music plus adult themes made this a DVD for adults, and the movie deals with adult situations. And you learn that your family could bite you in the behind and/or back. One of the lessons you might learn is to be careful of who you "prey" on because it might cause you to have to pray. The title of this movie is truly revealing, and the movie has some real twists and turns to it.

    I Also Recommend:

    Great Tyler Perry movie

Of all the Tyler Perry movies I have seen, this is definitely one of my favorites. Any role that Alfre Woodard acts/plays in has been no disappointment. She and Kathy Bates are wonderful - strong actresses. The two families are going astray and are on the verge of falling apart due to an extramarital affair between Bates' son and Woodard's daughter. It is up to Bates and Woodard to pull things back together for the sake of their many years of friendship. They decide to go on a vacation to reflect and sort out the mess that has happened. Great movie and great cast.
