    I Also Recommend:

You could see this as either a stand alone or sequel in the Nightmare series.

When I first saw this on TV, it was scary and creepy. The scene I remembered the most was the hospital scene with Julie and Dylan. In all honesty I like this better than the original Nightmare, since well I saw this first. This one is interesting because it's a movie within a movie. You have Heather who played Nancy in the first film who notices something's going on with her son and that it may have to do with the character of Freddy, only he seems different this time. This was a pretty good movie with scenes that remind you of the first movie. I like the new look of Freddy. He looks creepy and the make up's better. Prefer the glove from the original. The claw here seemed out of place I guess, looks cool though. Robert's great as Freddy in this and in the original and I'll admit has his moments in the sequels. The first half starts off slow but the rest of the movie gets better. So if you like the original and maybe the sequels then you'll like this one.

    Welcome to My Nightmare

Wes Craven's New Nightmare is by far my most favorite 'Nightmare' movie by far. What I liked about 'New Nightmare' was that the movie runs on tons of suspense and not on blood and gore, although there is enough guts to get your craving. Most of all no sex, I am no prude, but I am really tired of that horror movie steriotype that if you have sex in a horror movie you die, like the Friday the 13th movies or something, if Jason would just get laid he would probably stop killing people. Back to 'New Nightmare' Heather Langenkamp and Robert Englund return to "reprise" themselves and their original 'Nightmare' roles and play them out with more maturity than when they first came out in 1984. Plus this is the best part! Freddy is no longer a horrible standup comdedian when he kills people, no more puns only for "Have you ever played skin the cat?" and only one pun is an accomplishment for Freddy Krueger. Well that is pretty much it for 'New Nightmare'. I think that it is by far the best 'Nightmare' yet.

    Wes Craven's New Nightmare

This is movie was good that you would watch it again and again. Freddy looks better and 'grown up' with his newest costume and the claw looks better than ever. Some parts from the orginal movie were in this one like how he would slowly rise from inside the mattress his head pulling up the sheet where he looked like a ghost. That part scared a little. Entertaining movie with some of the regular cast who had done the orignal Nightmare movie back in the 80s

    YOU WON'T SLEEP AT NIGHT!!!

The Boogeyman Freddy Kruger comes to life and killing everyone on the set of his new movie.Includes his biggest enemy...Nancy.The best nightmare movie since the 1st one.I have a good tip for you...don't watch this at night. It's rated R for a reason.I'm not saying this because I'm a BIG Freddy fan.My brother lovvves being scared, but this time he passed the line. That night we watched Wes Cravens New Nightmare,I woke up to find him in the corner of the room with a flashlight. This isnt a movie you sleep through,I mean you really won't want to!!!
