A riveting , heart wrenching tale.
Nothing lifts my spirits up like a movie based on the relationship between a mother (Elizabeth Perkins) and her two daughters played by relative new comers (Alison Pill & Amanda Hope). This coming of age tale set in circa. 1981 depicts the struggles of puberty and finding one's own identity. Nick ( Scott Bakula) comes into their lives and moves them from Georgia up to New York's Long Island to live with him in his house. They struggle to become a family and encounter obsticles along the way that test their true strength, spirit and love for one another. This movie makes you appreciate the little things in life and to never take your family for granted. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
