    I am utterly amazed...

...that the authors of this book are making money by throwing cats into the air and then taking pictures. This is animal cruelty at its finest. If you look closely, the cats in this book, while seemingly dancing, are actually contemplating the whole 'cats always land on their feet' theory.

    Something Completely Different

When I first saw the cover of this book, I laughed out loud with joy and a sense of wonder about whether this book was for real. Surprisingly, DANCING WITH CATS is not a joke, and is an excellent primer on how to go about having some fun with your cats in a rather unusual way... by dancing with them. Since I don't currently have a cat, I borrowed one to get a feeling for how possible it might be to get a cat to dance. I succeeded in completely astonishing the cat as I began to notice the ways that the cat watched me moving around with movements that showed we were beginning to move together as one. Clearly, some cats enjoy dancing more than others, and this is one activity that may take a while to get fully into the swing of with your feline dancing partners. From the ancient history of cat dancing to modern age tips and techniques, this book provides a wealth of information about a subject most of us know very little about. The photographs are truly stunning, and you just might get some new ideas about what kinds of fun you can have dancing with cats. Highly recommended!

    Pure Magic!

I loved this book! The pictures were magical, capturing cats and dancers at perfect moments of artistry and creation. The text was also great, expressing both the wonderment and the naturalness that these people found with their pets. I particularly enjoyed the captions relating to the little boy Toby and his cat Toffee. This child's sense of joy and love for his cat and their special relationship came sparkling through the text and pictures. It may sound naive, but the mere fact that this book was made gives me hope that perhaps the world is becoming less callous and more open to the wonderfulness of cats! I'm just sorry that none of my cats can dance!

    Very interesting

The five stars I give this book are merely for humor. The photographs and serious tone of the text say, 'sarcastic spoof', but it's not! This book is for real, which makes is even funnier. A wonderful coffee table book, a conversation starter. A must-see!

This is why there are Cat Lovers!

I laughed and I was amazed! Not only was this a joy to see but the similarity between Cat & partner left me in joyous tears. Wonderfully done and brings out the sun on any rainy day.
