Plot was a little weak but this book's only asset was the smokin hot love scenes!! A HEA was thrown together in the end which wasn't necessary. It actually seamed forced. Over all I would recommend this to anyone that is look for a steamy book. Caution: m/f/m, m/m, menage

Intense, erotic, and fun

Detective Cameron Martinez and bail-bondsman R.A. Thorn, are in a bind. Their start witness in an upcoming trial has decided to disappear. So Cam and Thorn stakeout his place, hoping to catch him. But what they get instead is something neither one of them could have imagined!

When I think of Dangerous Boys and Their Toy, three words come to mind - intense, erotic, and fun. This story, while on the surface seems to be a fun, sexy romp, has some deeper layers. Ms. Black deals with some serious themes - such as the love one human being can have for another - love that transcends gender, ethnicity, or sexual preference. And loyalty - sometimes our biological families aren't the ones we're closest to. Family is all about who you love, and who loves you - through the good times and bad, the ones that have your back, no matter what. Trust and vulnerability are two other big issues dealt with in this story.
However, lest I have you thinking Dangerous Boys and Their Toy is just about the "issues", let me assure you - this story is totally sexy, and just plain fun. The banter between the three characters is hilarious, their interaction is fun to watch, and the sex is off-the-charts steamy! Ms. Black has once again written a tale that exemplifies the sub-genre it represents, while also transcending it in a wonderful way.
If you're a fan of menage stories - don't miss this one!

Eye-popping read!!!

I loved this book even though it was a quick read. I have always enjoyed Shayla's work. The book was incredibly written, the characters were steaming hot and the plot very creative. I hope Shayla gets to bring back these characters; I feel, there is still alot more story about their relationship left to tell.

Underwhelming

Story was moving a bit slowly, but went well until it got to the m/m deal. Wasn't expecting it as it was not indicated in the synopsis on the purchase page. Did not like it and expect that to be indicated prior to purchase. I've enjoyed other work of Ms Black's and plan continue to purchase her titles.

Wow!

Oh to be Brenna! Wow!

Awesome!

Very well written characters and hot sex!

Unexpected

I was intrigued by the synopsis but a bit turned off by the title of this novella, so I borrowed it from a Nook friend rather than buying. I would say this was a 3.5 for me. Surprisingly, the writing was done well overall. Although it's a quick read, I wasnt left feeling like there were gaping holes in the story. I had to get over the premise of an officer of the law sexually harassing a woman to get information. Then I was appalled at one of the male characters tying the heroine to the bed while she was sleeping then almost having sex with her- again to get information out of her. I kept reading and...WOW! Totally unexpected!! I didnt read any reviews before reading so I knew from the cover that this was a 3-way, but wasnt prepared for the m/m action. I'm usually not a fan of this type of erotica but the scenes were quite well written and built on one another instead of jumping right in. The main reason this book was not a 4 for me was the ending. It felt thrown together. Perhaps I expect too much for out of these stories, but after only 36 hours of being "together" it's just not believable that the 3 characters would embark on such a complicated relationship and live happily ever after.
