I am absolutely fascinated by Kama Sutra, which is why I was excited to read this book. I own a shattering number of Kama Sutra books because I enjoy being able to discover positions that gave pleasure in ancient times, and still be able to apply them to my sex life today. There's a reason Kama Sutra is so popular, Dannam and Axterdam explain in this edition. It is the universal practice of maximal sexual delight. This one also had some pretty interesting drawings that were fun to look at and model my own experiences with.

    Fun and Instructive

This slim volume is a concise and delightful sex manual which is based on a portion of the Kama Sutra. This was the text considered to be the standard work on human sexual behavior in Sanskrit literature. This excerpt deals with the varieties of sexual positions alone. The volume is part of a series of sexual manuals that extend from Bisexuality to Bondage and sections of the other books are excerpted within this work.

The book is lighthearted in tone and is informative on the mechanics of the sexual positions it covers. It is well illustrated in an instructive but not pornographic fashion. The tone is light and fun-loving. I enjoyed it a great deal.

However, this is a sex manual that covers the full range of behaviors. If you do not want to read about the subject avoid the book.
