    Dark Angel Rising

    Great battle scenes. The races are well developed and play against each other well and the main characters carry it along. A little hard to follow at the beginning but overall a good read.

    Dark Angel Rising

    I'm not a dark-ages fiction reader but had to purchase a copy to read a second time after a friend let me read his. The action doesn't stop throughout and I found myself yelling aloud at times. Apart from the action, there's a lot of historic and religious paralells that add depth to the story. I recomend it for the average reader but not for young children because of the violence.
