Nice Length, Decent Plot, but Needs Editing
Darkest Hours puts an interesting new twist in the vampire loves a human genre. The length of the book is nice in that it shows the development of the characters and relationships. Still, it could use more development and a fewer sex scenes. By the time the protagonists work out their issues, the sex scenes are very blah, blah, blah, and add nothing to the book. The plot is decent, although a bit predictable. While the writing style wasn't bad - indeed some of the dialogue was funny and made me laugh out loud - the book needs some major editing. At times, the writer seems to get lost in the timeline and forget that certain things were already explained or mentioned. Some sentences are so poorly constructed that I had to read them several times to understand what they meant. Overall, though, one can get past the editing issues and enjoy the story. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
