    I Also Recommend:

Explosive action and romance at the top of the world.

If you enjoy Lisa Marie Rice's mix of steamy sensuality with suspense, you'll rejoice in the fact that she also writes under the name of Elizabeth Jennings. Darkness at Dawn is a little different from her previous books in that the action goes international (yes, yes, I know LMR set Port of Paradise in Italy, but this is a whole different vibe!)and involves the fate of nations.

Dr. Lucy Merritt lives a life of calm safety, gathering beautiful things around her and keeping to herself. Captain Mike Shafer of the 10th Mountain Division of the U.S. Army trains men and does his duty. So when both are called to perform a top secret mission that involves the safety of no less then 3 countries, how can they refuse...even though she is untrained and pretty as a picture, but totally useless - or so Mike thinks.

However, Lucy doesn't have a conventional past and the quiet life she leads now is a direct consequence of the life of constant danger her CIA parents subjected her to as a child. Now she's being asked to return to the tiny mountain kingdom she knew as a child, the place her parents gave their lives to save; and if she and Mike don't succeed in their mission, millions of lives will end in a horrible plague that knows no borders.

Suspenseful, action-packed, and steamy, Darkness at Dawn is another keeper.
