    more from this reviewer

    Indeed, the missing manual!

Wonderfully written, easy to understand, concise, great for everyone especially newbies like myself. Most photo books assume you know everything and write accordingly. This book breaks it down the way it should be broken down. I found myself wanting more after reading Pogue's book. Pogue understands the universal self-help truth about communication. K.I.S.S. - Keep It Simple Stupid!

Where has this book been hiding

I found this book at the B&N store this week. It is answering questions that have puzzled me this past year. This information is not in the manual with the cameras. I am finally understanding ISO on the digital camera which I had understood on the film camera and I think I can actually use the setting on the camera thanks to this book. Maybe, now I can take pictures without flashes.

This book has information useful for all cameras whether they are SLR's or the small basic one. Until I remember everything the camera can do, unlikely, I will make sure this book is available to use any time I have the camera.

The books I recommended are also available for other cameras.

    Great Book

This is a book that should be included with every digital camera. Not only is it informative; but well written and David uses his usual humor to get a point across.
