We've all wondered what it would be like to die...but few people can speak with any authority on the subject. In 'The Day I Died', Steve Sjogren tells his story of a simple medical procedure gone horribly wrong. With a story telling gift honed while conducting 8 worship services each weekend, he weaves the reality of a death experience, gut wrenching emotional conflicts, and goofy situations like trying to ride a motorcycle with his legs in braces. Unlike many pastors, Steve has spent most of his time with people who don't share his outlook on life. As a result, he asks many of the questions that the 'regular guy' would ask when his life falls apart. The answers he finds will surprise you. I would highly recommend this book - no matter where you are on your spiritual journey. Whether you're nearing the end of your years and are wondering about what it's like to slip from this life to the next or you're young and think you have decades ahead of you, 'The Day I Died' has much to say about life.

Inspiring

The book was very good. It was not what I expected, however, I found it to be inspiring and encouraging. It is not so much about death, but about living. Excellent!
