a terrific finish to a strong trilogy
While visiting Ireland with his second wife, millionaire Sean O'Riley becomes ill. He recuperates enough to go home, but hires local Nurse Caer Cavannaugh to help him as he returns to States and heals at home.
Sean's alarmed daughter Kat believes the trophy wife wants her dad dead so she can insure her inheritance before Sean wisely cuts her off, but she lacks hard core proof. When Sean's partner Eddie Ray disappears, Kat asks her friend private investigator Zach Flynn to make inquiries. Zach finds no motives for either killing one partner or for the vanishing of the other. Caer assists him on his investigation, but as they fall in love, she hides from him a secret that impacts the case and will end their relationship.
The concluding Flynn brothers¿ ¿deadly¿ romantic suspense (see DEADLY NIGHT and DEADLY HARVEST) is a terrific finish to a strong trilogy. The story line is fast-paced from the moment Sean arrives in Ireland and never slows down as Zach with Caer¿s aid investigates the business partners¿ sudden problems. However, what makes the story line is the secret that puts quite a twist to a tense private investigative romance.

Still worth reading
I wasnt as fond of this 3rd book in the series and last Flynn Brothers story. I found it seemed rushed, for me the characters didnt flow, i thought that more time could have been spent on the I guess love stories growth. I love the author and will read more. You cant win first place everytime my daddy always said sometimes you gotta get second to improve!

a disappointing end
I was so disappointed in the end book to this fun series. I enjoyed the first two books as fun fantasy reads...this one was almost painful to get through. I was really excited to read about Zach as he seemed to be the most mysterious of the Flynns however his story did him no justice. I would recommend everyone stop after Deadly Harvest and make your on mental ending for Zach.

What happened to this series??
This is the third in the Flynn brother's trilogy. This story is about the youngest brother, Zach. A friend of the family, Sean, and his trophy wife, Amanda, just arrived in Ireland and becomes deadly ill. Kat, Sean's daughter thinks Amanda did it so she calls in Zach to investigate. While is the hospital, Sean is looked over by Caer. Something is strange but we don't find out for a while. Also, when Sean was departing, his business partner and friend, Eddie, go missing, believed to be dead.
Zach shows up in Ireland to help bring Sean home and Caer falls hopelessly in love with him. So they all fly back to New England. When back, things happen that keep confirming that someone id out to get the treasure that Eddie and Sean have been looking for and that Edie found. While supernatural things, like flocks of ravens, happen to make this seem more than a normal mystery.
I have to agree, the name thing issue is just sloppy. Compared to the other two books, this is weak. There was no mystery, except for what Caer's secret is, the who dun it was the typical story, and the banshee thing felt like it was just thrown together to do something other than having spirits help guide and protect the characters.
It had potential but sure feels like no effort was put forth. I am disappointed.1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

Great for mystery, forensic science, and a bit of romance.
This is a good series for forensic science, crime lab (CSI), a bit of romance, and a good mystery.

The Gift
This was the last in the trilogy and I really liked all three. The covers were a little misleading, but I like this author and always check out any of her books. The fist one hooked me and I wanted to read all three. These were a little different for this author, but I liked the variety of locations even while continiung the characters from place to place. Very different. Well worth reading.

A great read
Heather Graham gives us Deadly Gift the third in her Flynn Brother's saga. This is Zach Flynn's story and it starts in Ireland where a dear family friend has fallen ill, another one is missing at sea and Zach is brought in to solve the mysteries surrounding both, while in Ireland he meets the enigmatic Caer who is his ill friends private nurse, she returns to the states with the entourage to continue to care for Sean. The sparks start flying between Zach and Caer while evil closes in.
This book has all the bells and whistles it's a great romance, it's exciting, full of danger and intrigue and a touch of the Emerald Isles fantasy. It's bound to be a best seller.1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

Not as great as the first 2 books.
Deadly Gift is the last of the Flynn Brothers trilogy. It isn't as exciting as the first 2 books. Yet I love Heather Graham. I'll buy any of her books any day!
