This book is a fun read! The suspense grips you and keeps you turning the pages while the humor keeps you laughing even as you fear for the characters┬┐ safety. Lindsay is a quirky heroine we can all relate to. And what about the mysterious Fred? Is there going to be a sequel? Will he ever figure out who he really is? I hope so! I want to read more of this author!

    sweet

Sweet story but I found it a bit convoluted. Perhaps the author wanted to include too many themes. The chocolate treats seemed interesting!
It's a book for easy reading and I wouldn't recommend it for a discussion group.

Lighthearted to Begin, A Good Mystery in the End

This nook book started out slowly, but finally got to the mystery behind Paula Walter, an employee hired by Lindsay to help out at her shop. Death bby Chocolate. There are questions about Paula and her little boy Zach. Where did they come from, what happened to her husband, and what caused the scar on her face? Lindsay is in the process of getting a divorce from Rick, the husband whom she found in bed with another woman. King Henry is the stray cat who adopts her, Fred is a helpful and talented neighbor, and Adam Trent is the unmarried attractive police officer. The action comes fast and furious toward the end. There is a certain amount of romance for that type of reader. I plan to read the next book in the series with the same characters. I might recommend this to my book group.
