Larry should stick to nonfiction, his forte. This novel is very disjointed and has an inconsistent narrator, who appears intermittently. The numerous chapter subheads really slow down the reading pace, with poor transition. There is a lack of character development and too much corny dialogue (Yikes; Yesiree). Also rife with factual errors, e.g., Wm. Penn's landing in 1862; Blue Route, "east-west" expressway. Veronica Victoria changes to Victor; etc. Plus 10 annoying blank pages which make the work actually 238 pages, not 248! Obviously, this was a rush job--and it shows it.Was this review helpful?
