    An Amazing Book

Out of all the true crime novels I have read, this one is by far my favorite. I liked how it not only described the crime scene and court hearing well, but also described Catherine's life; so well that the reader felt themselves mourning her death along with her family and friends. Catherine's murder was untimely and inhumane, and such a beautiful, spirited, and strong woman should not have died that way. I could relate to Catherine, for I am also a dancer with hopes of making it to the Broadway stage. She was a dreamer who never gave up, and her story was excellently told in this book.

This book was a fast read. It was excellent!! I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in Murder and Mystery. Catherine was an extraordinary women who didn't deserve what happened to her. Kudos to these two writers!!

    Legal Incompetence

This book is absorbing in many ways. It portrays a woman who was resigned to stripping sympathetically, and as a strong character in her own right. Her passion for dance is the focus, not her means of paying rent. There are no stereotypes allowed...we are made to confront our own, as we experience the case through the assumptions of the racist and classist criminal justice system. The main point I got was how incompetent this system was, all the way through the case. This book will horrify and terrify you, if you have the imagination to know we could all end up in the wrong place, at the wrong time...

    Such a sad tale

This is the sad story of a beautiful, young dancer cut down before her life had truly begun. It keeps your attention all the way through and is hard to put down. I would definitely not have wanted to be a juror in this case. But I do believe the correct person was convicted and hope that poor Catherine can now rest in peace.

    Informational Book!!

I vaggly remember watching this case on 48 Hours Mystery. I enjoyed reading the story in this book. Although, I could only give three stars, because I don't like the format that it's presented in.
