Spiritfur※ & Co

Spiritfur scents the air for prey. Suddenly, a starling flies past, and she shoots into the air, snagging her claws on its wings. She slams the creature onto the ground, killing it th the blow.

Moonsplash gapes at her in shock. "That was amazing!" She gushes. "I wish I could do that!" She lays a fresh scent-marker, then turns back to her mother, who had picked up the fresh-kill.

"You'll be able to someday," Spiritfur mumbles throught feathers and prey. "I've seen how you bring down birds in mid-liftoff. The trait is in your blood, darling." She looks around then turns back towards camp. "Things seem to be checking out now. Let's get back to camp." Spiritfur and Moonsplash pad back to camp, grabbing the rabbit Moonsplash had caught on the way.

    Treystar DESCRIPTION OF CAMP

In the middle of a lush forest lays a clearing. To the west is a range of hills. To the east is ocean. The clearing is surrounded by tall ferns, hiding it from view. Near the entrance is a tree with thick, flat, spreading branches. The branches have been padded with moss and the tree is where the warriors sleep. On the other side of the entrance is a similar tree, but a bit smaller, for the apprentices. Next to the warrior's tree is a small area enclosed in brambles. Inside the ground is cushioned with soft, thick moss. This is the elder's den. In the back of the camp is a thick dome of brambles, the inside walls lined with grass and leaves. On the ground is a carpet of soft moss. Lining the walls are large nests of thick, squishy moss covered with pelts, fur side up. This safe haven is the nursery. Next to the nursery is a dense willow tree. Inside the low, sweeping branches is the medicine den. Herbs are stored in small caves in the trunk. There are also a few nests in the back. Between the med den and the apprentice's tree is a moss covered boulder. This is highrock. Below is a sheet of ivy. Through the ivy is a short tunnel leading to a small, cool cave containing a thuck, soft moss nest. This is the leader's den. In the middle of camp is a circle of rocks. In the middle is the fresh-kill pile. Next to camp, a clear stream burbles through the forest, sparkling in the filtered sunlight.
