LORD LOSS
I would say my favorite character is Lord Loss. He always sounds dipressed and I like the whole idea of him having no heart just snakes. I would very much like to know his past and so on. He is just what I like to call a dark character. I simply mean that he is just unknown. He is like a shadow. Sure I know that he feeds on the sorrow of humans, and that he loves chess and that he's a demon master but I would just like to know how he was born or made. However demons are born. Anyway, another thing I like about him is that he is so frekin powerful!!!!!
And the last thing I would like to say is that this is my first time to ever write about someone so yeh. HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE.
So yeh please comment back if you can!!!!!2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

Deaths Shadow by Darren Shan (my overview)
Book seven "deaths shadow" is so far a great and horrific story. This novel is only a part of Darrens terrifying saga. Bec was once a person trapped in a cave and left for dead. Little does she know even after death her soul was forced to stay in the cave for eternity. Bec found Bill-Es dead body(nephew of dervish) and took it over to make it her own so she could once again walk the earth. Bec finds that in this new body she has a special gift and learns alot more about people then she needs to when she comes in physical contact with them. Bec is actually alot older than she seems in the story because she speaks about "her time" and how magic and demons played a role in her life, well now in her new body she must fight against werewolves, men with guns, as well as demons. This novel is scary, thrilling and very exciting to read, I indefinitely would recommend this book to any reader who is interestd in anything that has to do with magic and demons. Overall an awesome read!

The Demonata Series by Darren Shan
I have not yet read #7--I am just starting book #5. My son and I became addicted to the Cirque du Freak series, so we considered this series a "must have". It doesn't pull you in like the Cirque du Freak series, because although there is a common thread in every Demonata book, they don't follow in sequence---you move back and forth in time. I have finally become attached to the main character, Grubbs--he shows up every other book (so far). They are absolutely worth reading, but if buying for a young reader be sure they are ready for guts, gore, and death--this series includes plenty. Not recommended for the faint of heart, but definitely recommended for the Darren Shan fans.

Bec has returned, and what aches her the most, besides adapting to the newest technology of the always-changing world, is having to deal with Dervish and the miles of questions surrounding his deceased nephew, Bill-E.
Although this does frustrate Bec extremely, no time is to waste as werewolves and demons attack the house and the hospital that Dervish ends up in. They are once again reunited with Juni Swan, who escapes to a powerful ship that has the magic in aiding Dervish and Sharmila.
Arriving at the ship, the group becomes trapped, surrounded by demons and their leaders, Juni and Lord Loss, who has now embodied Cadaver. Here the battle begins, and surviving just does not seem possible at all, especially since a demon stronger than Lord Loss is now upon them.
Deeper and darker than ever, Darren Shan continues his series with the infamous gory details and action sequences. The battle continues in DEATH'S SHADOW between Dervish's clan and those serving Lord Loss, and fans will not want to miss any minute of it. Also in this installment, Beranabus' character becomes even more developed, as we get a closer look at his life before joining forces with Dervish. -
Death's Shadow book 7
This series has gotten more creepier, bloodier and in a way probably a little better than Cirque du Freak (I still love that series either way). The narrator is now Bec and continues where Demon Apocalypse left off. Bec tries adjusting herself into a new world than her own after coming back from the dead and has to deal with Dervish not seeing her as her but as a way to learn more about Bill-E. Later the house is attacked by werewolves and a certain lady who was thought to be dead AGAIN has returned including the unknown force that is only known as the Shadow. Bran, Grubs and Kernel are in the Demon's universe but return just in time to help their friends. This one in the series is just as better as the last book and of course the climax at the ending yet obviously its a cliffhanger. Makes me want to read the next book coming soon Wolf's Island. IF you have a weak stomach I suggest you not reading this series. But if you don't then congrats to you.
