Not as strong as the first book
This book was okay. The first book (Night's Cold Kiss) was great. NCK had compelling main characters and great secondary characters. The second book, however lacked both of those. I was interested in the background between Raven and Kitt but it never really made a ton of sense. Did they fight to be together all those years ago? Couldn't Kitt have gone off to Australia with him and the twins? Why did Kitt's family all pretend to hate her so much when really they were on her side all along? It just didn't work for me. Too many holes.. AND to top if all off, Christian is only briefly in the book. Antoinette and Kitt were fun together but I felt like everything that made the first book so good was missing here. Hopefully, if there is a book three, it can get back the original spark.
