Worst formatted ebook--don't touch it!
How do you take a great story by Jack McDevitt and completely ruin it? Simple: Let Harper Collins scan it, OCR it, and turn it into an ebook without checking for errors. The misspellings, inaccurate or misplaced punctuation marks and quotations, and words shifting from straight to italics and back, throughout the novel, are too numerous to count, and totally distracting from enjoying an otherwise great story.
And should I mention that THE ENDING IS MISSING? No kidding... the last chapter ends in the middle of an incomplete sentence.
Don't spend your money on this... and in fact, if you're looking at any Harper Collins books, I'd put 'em back, and save yourself a stroke in anger.
B&N: I want my money back. You ought to be ashamed for letting drek like this pass through your system!
