This is the first book I've had the pleasure of reading by Abby

This is the first book I've had the pleasure of reading by Abby Niles, and let me say, I was throughly entertained. I love a story that makes me laugh, and found myself doing so every few pages. Not only is this book filled with humorous situations, Ms. Niles has given us an insight to dealing with life after a loved one commits suicide, which plays a major part in the story, and she does a fantastic job of throwing out hints and clues, capturing the reader's interest without until all is revealed near the end of the book.

Our Hero, Luke is the highly successful sci-fi writer of the "Farmen" series, under the gun of his huge fan base for killing off his lead characater. Emma is a journalist attending the Sci-fi convention, GalaxyCon, with hopes of tagging a winning story. Ms. Niles gives us a vivid, laugh out loud look at just how caught up in the fantasy world some fans become, and what it's like to LARP--Live Action Role Play. The author's talent for description puts you at the scene, right down to the leaves on the tree-like creatures, the Plantus. I love how the  fans fall into and out of character as they play their roles!

Sexual tension abounds between Luke and Emma, and we're given a sub plot between her geeky brother and his lost love.

Let me say, I don't recommend a book unless I've been truly impressed and enjoyed reading it. This is one of those books.
