    I Also Recommend:

    Excellent

Where to begin? The story takes off so suddenly I couldn't put this book down. Talk about a turn of events for the main characters, how devestating. I love a story that grabs you and holds you until long after you've read the last page. This book is truely one. Very very good from beginning to end. Quite thrilling and romantic.

    I Also Recommend:

    Desire in the Sun

I love Karen Robards, I think that her writing style is amazing. Desire in the Sun is a historical romanance, of all her books I think I enjoy her historical romances the most. Desire in the Sun is about two people who fall in love at first sight, they are challenged every step of the way when secrets come out. During a storm down the coast of North America the two are stranded on a deserted island, their passion and desire grow stronger as they struggle for survival as well as the survival of their love.

    Great book!

I loved this book so much. I think it's one of my all time favorite books. This is the first Karen Robards historical romance that I've read. I couldn't put it down. I really loved Lilah and Joss, their story made me cry a couple of times. My favorite part of the book was when they were on the deserted island. This book has a great plot, a lot of adventure and two great leading characters. I don't think I'll ever forget this story. I loved the ending! Such a perfect ending to a great story. I can't wait to read Ms. Robards' other romance novels.

Why did she have to lose her child?

I found the book really outstanding, but I nearly wept when she lost her child. There was no reason she should have lost it. I got the impression the reason is because she conceived it out of marriage.
