I didn't find Diablo 3 to have a very effective plot. I came to this book hoping it would fill in some of the glaring plot holes of the game. It did a little but left far more new ones. The characters are as two dimensional and as cartoonish as in the actual game and I found myself not really able to care about the characters especially knowing how it was all going to end. If you really liked the diablo 3 story you might find some interesting moments but this is not the book that will win you over.

    Soooooo Boring!

I was a HUGE fan of all the other Diablo novels that have been released and was looking forward to reading this one as well. It started out very slow paced and unfortunatly never picked up. I am very dissapointed in this book and I stuggled to make it through the entire thing as it was soooo slow and drab.

Part of the problem I'm sure is because the story focuses on Deckard Cain and it doesn't make him an interesting character at all.
