After much controversy and expense the DSM V was released last month. Initial review of this text is overall positive. The ICD codes (F codes)are included with each DSM designation. No more five axes or GAF noted. Now inclusive of qualifiers and more dimensional in scope. It will certainly present a learning curve to adjust to. Expensive at $149 in softcover. Recommend corollary training to utilize effectively.

I will not comment on the content, because for those that use this for work, we know of all the changes of the dxs. I will say, that although nothing will be done with this, is that I really miss the old format with the listing of dx towards the front of the book. This book is thinner than the DSM IV TR, but I would have taken the extra thickness, if the formating of the DSMV closer to the last one.
