Gwen Cooper has a refreshing style that will appeal to every reader. this account is interesting and kept me reading until I was done. I eagerly sought out her noext book a completely different book, Homer's Odyssey about her blind cat. That book was also fantastic!!! Read everything she writes, trust me, you won't be sorry!!!

A FABULOUS READ!!!
I absolutely loved this book! Every time I picked it up, I imagined myself living vicariously through Rachel Baum, a character I should definitely be friends with! This book is exciting and fun, and is a great guilty pleasure as you are able to imagine yourself as one of the fascinating characters that South Beach has to offer. The author, Gwen, has a writing style that is captivating and you will not want to put the book down. It is a real page-turner! I would recommend this book to anyone, not only partiers, but even those who cannot be found in the club, but would still like to get lost in the whirlwind of South Beach! So whether you are at your cottage in upstate New York, or on Miami Beach with your Tom Ford shades and your bottle of Bain de Soleil¿ go out and buy this book, believe me, you won¿t be disappointed!

A must read!!!
I randomly happened upon this book at B&N and after reading it.....absolutely loved it. I found the character development to be rich. I have many friends whom are locals on South Beach and this book accurately depicts the lifestyle lived of some. This book allows the reader to live through the writer and is surly one in which you simply can¿t put down. I highly recommend it!

This is one of the best novels I've read in a long time, and so much more than I expected it to be! Gwen Cooper is a wonderful writer, her characters are funny, engrossing, and moving, and her dialogue is some of the best I've ever seen. This book is both a coming of age story that most women in their 20's will completely relate to and also a fascinating look at what really goes on in all those South Beach clubs and VIP rooms. And the writing is absolutely beautiful. I'm recommending this book to all my friends!
