    Don't like

    Can't use while camping and trying to win at scrable. Need wifi wish I knew befoe buying.

    Needs an urgent update!

    I bought this app on Dec 31, 2011 and the word of the day remains the same without change the day 31. I don't understand because I have the same app in my iphone and works really well. Nook should check what's going on...

    If it wont load, there are three thiings I would try. 1) try archiving and then unarchiving it. 2) you might not hve enough room, so try just archiving some unused apps. 3) bn is a America- only store. If you buy something out of the country, it won't download. I found this out the hard way, and the best thing to do is call b&n. They'll help you get your apps. 4) If 3 doesn't apply, I would call anyway. There is a pretty good chance that your problem will be solved.

    I want my money back

    I got this app to see the word of the day but the word is always the same. Fugitive. EVERY DAY!!!

    Cannot use this OFFLINE!!! You must be conected to WIFI!!

    Ok if you are always connected. I can't believe we have to purchase a dictionary. A dictionary is standard on any other similar device. Just keep getting nickle and dimed to death.

    Sad that so many reviewed poorly because they were idiots.

    It is a great app. Just because you wanted an offline app doesn't mean this one is only worthy of one dang star. It functions well and has some cool features. Losing one or two stars for the wifi part is more reasonable.

    Stopped working

    I've had this app for months and it worked fine until it got an update, now it has been stuck on the same word for weeks. Archiving and unarchiving doesn't work. Save your money and don't bother with this one!

    I'm happy with it

    I'm glad I bought it. I was reluctant since I read some negative reviews. But so far, it has had everything I've needed, and everything has worked. Oh yeah, except for the word of the day, as others have pointed out. Mine is stuck on the number 31, and my word is " larrup." I noticed someone else's was stuck on "fugitive." Fortunately this feature isn't important to me, so it's not a problem, but it would be nice if it worked, since this is one of the features they list on the overview. Otherwise, I think this is a good app, and I would recomend it.

    Helpful

    Whenever I'm reading a book and I see a word I do not know I just go bing! And find the word. Its sooooo easy to use. I love this app.( as much as you can love a word app) I reccomend this app to people who use dictionarys a lot.

    Freezes up

    Liked it at first but after I searched 3 or 4 words, it freezes up on me. If somebody knows why, please let me know. I write poetry and would love to beableto use this. Thanks

    Useful

    Very useful for my everyday need for words and their definition, with synonyms at your fingertips. Works well, and has a couple cool features like favoriting a word.
