One of the best books I have read in years. The debate about Islam has always been premised upon the story that an Arab poet turned warlord, procured a book whether by supernatural or natural means and from this religious zeal the Arab conquests began. Regardless, those who are against Islam or those who are in favor of Islam for whatever reason have held to this story. Spencer asks how then is it possible during at least the first 60 years of the conquests that no one mentioned the words Quran, Muslim, Islam or Muhammad? One would think there must be dozens if not hundreds of accounts that mention these but in all the accounts that were written by both the conquered and the Arab conquerors these words do not appear. Based on the historical and archaeological evidence, I am convinced the traditional account is FICTION. I highly recommend you read this book if you ever intend in the future to discuss the nature of Islam and how it was created.
