One of the funniest books
I'm just about finished reading DIDN'T MY SKIN USED TO FIT. This is one of the funniest books I've read on the subject of life after 40 to date. It is easy to see why Martha Bolton is a writer for comedians. Her humor is wonderful and really makes being over 40 sound hilarious. Her writing is right on the mark and makes those of us who fit into this category feel like we're not alone. My favorite chapter is about HMO's and the waffle iron being used for a mammogram! There are many books written about the subject but I encourage anyone who is looking for a fun read aabout life after 40 to read this book. For me, I couldn't put it down.

She Makes Aging Fun!
I never thought I'd look at growing older in a funny way--I'm fighting it all the way! But Martha has a way of making me smile at the future. Even though I'm not yet forty, I can already relate to many of her topics, like 'Thanks for the memory. . .loss.' Only a staff writer for Bob Hope could make me laugh so loud that my husband forced me to read out loud--so he could enjoy the humor, too. And yet, Martha brings perspective with the years. This is a delightful read! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
