E.J. Ferris, used to patrol with her military unit until she was

E.J. Ferris, used to patrol with her military unit until she was injured and sent home. Now she patrols the halls of Fernglen Galleria shopping mall as a mall cop. Usually, there's not a lot of excitement at the mall. However, when E.J.'s day starts out with the janitor finding a lizard from the Herpetology Hut, and she finds out all the reptiles were released into the mall by an animal rights group going by the name of L.O.A.F. it promises to be an interesting day. When a mall walker sees a dead body in the display window of one of the stores, things get more interesting. When detective Anders Helland dismisses her with a "We can take it from here," and tells her to go do whatever it is she does, E.J. sets out to solve the case. With the help of retired CIA agent Grandpa Atherton, fellow officer Weasel, and the support of her friend Kyra, she starts piecing together leads. I liked this book, the characters, and the background. I'm looking forward to reading the next one.

    Fun mystery

EJ Ferris, mall cop and war vet has her hands full with escaping exotic animals and graffiti artists. Things get worse when a naked dead man is found in the display window of a high end clothing store.

She can't decide which is worse: uncooperative witnesses or an arrogant but, handsome Swedish detective with his blue and yellow ties

    A great new series!

Spending time with mall cop E.J. Ferris is nearly as much fun as shopping the after-Christmas sales! She's bright, thoughtful, and spunky with a great backstory that makes her oh-so-human. In fact, Emma Joy (E.J.) is the perfect antidote to buyer's remorse. With its twisty plot and sparkling cast of secondary characters, Laura DiSilverio's latest book deserves a spot on your "must buy" list.
