    more from this reviewer

    My Brother was a Victim

My Brother was a victim of thses two very sick people. I found the book to go into detail to much and it made me sick when it got to Jeff's part but I read it and finished it. The death sentence for NG is not enough he needs to feel the pain the vicims and their families felt.

    Can't keep reading this

I agree with the person who commented on the details in this book. I'm not even halfway through this book and I have no desire to read any more. I do believe the childhood and pasts of criminals are relevant in a true crime novel, but this is so detailed that I'm already getting thoroughly confused to the point that I don't want to finish it. I really do not need to know what Leonard Lake did every minute of his life. I RARELY put down a book without finishing it, I can tell you that I won't be picking this one up again.

sick people in the world today be careful

Charles Ng was so very stupid and gullable there is no way that anyone could make me go and hunt down innocent people and take them to a secluded area and tie them up and torture them and even the innocent baby whom had no say so about his own life there's too many followers in this world it sad!!!!

    3-4 stars

In a world where it seems there is a missing person or child everyday, this story shows how these perpetrators can live in society undetected for long periods of time.

    I live in Wilseyville

Having lived in Wilseyville since I was young it's very strange to hear about this through a book. As a kid I remember walking to the store and seeing them with their table selling some of the victims things. Very chilling really. Good reading though.

    Demented

You better watch out! Neighbors from hell! Very, very sick duo who tortured and killed innocent people. Will stain your brain for the worse, but it's better to know the enemy is out there, than not to know. Heartbreaking victims, including babies!, sad to say. The death penalty is way too good for some people. If you are against it, here's the book that may change your mind.

    I WANT A REFUND

Being a criminal justice student, I have had the opportunity to read MANY true crime books. This book is one in which I wish I could get my money back! There were so many details, it felt worse than reading the dictionary, word for word, and they weren't even that interesting. This is one of the only books I have ever not finished. The tale is sad, no doubt, but trying to suffer thru it sent me to bed early.

    Great Book

This was a really good book. I couldn't stop reading it. I was at the edge of my seat. The author makes it seem so real.
