    Interesting read.

    I have been following the recommendations for 3 months now. I definitely have more energy and have been sleeping much better.

    Excellent book, poorly named

    This book is NOT about dieting, but it is rather a look at which of our body systems are out of whack, what to do about it, and how to fix it. Losing weight and improving appearance are the secondary effects of balancing your brain chemistry, renourishing your adrenals and thyroid glands, and figuring out what other kinds of imbalances you have, or have developed. It was liberating and empowering to read this book. I am doing fine now and I'm so happy to not be the crazy, premenstrual, chunky, exhausted, and depressed person I always assumed I was destined to be.

    Problem solver

    This book can help almost anyone lose weight who has been trying for years without any progress. Although it does require a lot of changes in lifestyle and the purchase of certain supplements, I found that after a while the supplements could be stopped with no reduction in progress. This book allowed me to lose weight and stop suffering from depression and anxiety attacks. It is worthwhile to read it.

    WONDERFUL!

    This book does call for alot of nutrients, but I have found that one does not need to do all at one time. For me I need the help on l glutamine for sugar cravings. I go on them for a few weeks and then I go off till I start to feel like I am losing control. They are not necessary for long periods. If a person looks at the damage that both sugar and artificial sweetners do to the body, it would be a given that one would have to agree that they need to remove them from the diet. If one starts to read labels one will see that sugar is in a lot of things you would not think. The book also deals with other addictions. This plan has helped me a lot with sugar/artificial sweetner cravingss and fatigue. I highly recommend it to others.

    Could Be My Salvation !

    As a veteran of yo-yo dieting, depression, allergies, and reading books on the aforementioned, I have finally come upon the most comprehensive treatment program I've ever seen for addressing these issues. I have tried many of the recommendations put forth in this book at one time or another, i.e. healthy foods, exercise, even vitamin supplements, but never really new that much about amino acids. It all seems to make so much sense to me that these are fundamental to any well-balanced program, as presented by the author. As luck would have it, one of the nutritionists from the program, based in California, has recently moved to Colorado. I anxiously await my appointment, and beginning, for the last time, to recover my health! Thank-you Julia Ross, MA.!
