Excellent book, poorly named
This book is NOT about dieting, but it is rather a look at which of our body systems are out of whack, what to do about it, and how to fix it. Losing weight and improving appearance are the secondary effects of balancing your brain chemistry, renourishing your adrenals and thyroid glands, and figuring out what other kinds of imbalances you have, or have developed. It was liberating and empowering to read this book. I am doing fine now and I'm so happy to not be the crazy, premenstrual, chunky, exhausted, and depressed person I always assumed I was destined to be.Was this review helpful? This book can help almost anyone lose weight who has been trying for years without any progress. Although it does require a lot of changes in lifestyle and the purchase of certain supplements, I found that after a while the supplements could be stopped with no reduction in progress. This book allowed me to lose weight and stop suffering from depression and anxiety attacks. It is worthwhile to read it.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
