    Wow, Wooooooowwwwww, Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!

    Hi my name is Lisa and I feel truly honored to be the first to write a review for Dr. Mike Dow's new book Diet Rehab. This book is a Godsend for me. I feel as though this book was written for me. Dr. Mike really cares and it comes through in his book. When I first started reading this book all I kept saying was wow, it really is not my fault, I am not crazy. Reading that the reason my cravings for certain foods were not a matter of willpower but that my Serotonin and Dopamine levels were severely deficient I broke down and cried. By taking quizzes in the book I realized that I was severely deficient in both Serotonin and Dopamine, so following Dr. Mike's advice my cravings for sugar has just about gone away and by eating this way I actually feel full which is crazy for me because I can't remember a time when I ever felt full. I was always hungry. This is a miracle to me. So I recommend this book to anyone who needs help and feels like there is no hope for them because there is and it is called Diet Rehab. Go out and get this book if your suffering with food issues, if your tired of dieting and refuse to do it anymore, if you want to have a life where you can love yourself, love food, love your life and be happy and free.

    Surprisingly simple- and it's working!

    I bought Dr. Dow's book at the beginning of January after watching a story about a woman he helped who lost 10 pounds in a month. I'm three weeks in, and I've already lost 6 pounds.

    When I think about the feelings of happiness we get from eating chocolate or french fries, it isn't surprising to learn foods trigger chemical reactions in our brains.

    What is surprising is how easily Dr. Dow walks you through that science, helps you better understand your cravings and then provides small additions and tweaks to your life to help curb bad eating habits that can derail your goals.

    This book is different because it focuses first on adding in positive things (healthy foods and activities) one-by-one. That approach keeps it from feeling overwhelming and restrictive and makes it feel sustainable.

    Most surprising for me: on top of losing weight, I have more energy and I'm happier.
