Very interesting, but not something I would like my teenage daughter of 15 to read; it doesn't say the most important advantage of all is "the thrill of accomplishment" for yourself

    Great Little Book

There aren't what I would consider a lot of new ideas in this book, but they are presented in a great way. Godin gives great practical ways of visualizing and understanding the difficult places of our lives and then good advice on how to work through them. I would recommend this book to lots of other people.

    A bit of a push

If you are in between jobs or really training and moving towards a goal, this one tells you that it is darkest before the dawn.. And also gives you a few tips along the way.. A quick read.. Nice to pass on to friends in need of a push or in the middle of the Dip. : - )

    All in the Timing!

'The Dip' by Seth Godin is a remarkable book! In reading this book one can discover some insights into the true art of living. In a nutshell this book is about when to hold on and when to let go, and the necessity of knowing the difference between the two. This book is a must read, since it highlights the very real importance of 'timing' in our lives...and isn't it all in the 'timing'...contains most precious insights into learning how to be harmonious with the rhythm of the universe. Highly recommended.

    Good Points Abound!

This is a great little book. It's quick to read and gets to the point fast. It's excellent for those who need a little boost to stay in the game and continue pushing to reach the top of the heap and even better for those who have a good idea they're headed in the wrong direction. I just wish this book had been around 20 years ago when I knew as a fist-year law student that I was headed in the wrong direction but didn't have the guts to quit law school. Oh well, at least after reading this book, I can finally put to rest a career that should have died in its infancy. Thanks Seth!
