This was another one that I thought was just ok. Blake is one of the most metro sexual men I've read about and he treated Kirin pretty crappy. He just came across way to forceful and didn't seem to much kindness in him at all. Kirin may have been down and out in her career but she is a fighter. I really liked that about her. Even when she is at her lowest she won't let Blake have 100% control over her. She gives a little but remains strong throughout the process. The ending felt a bit rushed to me. I did wind up proud of Kirin in the end and Blake made steps to redeeming himself but the book remained just ok for me.

An enjoyable read.  The characters are interesting.  Kirin is comfortable with herself as she is.  But with a little pushing, she learns new things about herself and becomes a stronger person.  Blake thinks he has it all together.  But he accidentally discovers the person he truly wants to me.  Through it all he comes off as a jerk at times.  But he is working through his own issues.  Together they bring out the best in each other.

The book is well-written.  The characters are likable and believable.  The story is good.  But there wasn't anything outstanding that made me love it.
