Fascinating Read for the Disney Fan

Lots of interesting stuff in this book that I haven't read elsewhere, even though I have read lots of books on Disney. Would make a great gift for the Disney fanatic in your life.

The best book on Disneyland's history to date

This book is as enjoyable to read as it is informative. It's a perfect reference guide for anyone who is even mildy interested in the history of "The Happiest Place On Earth."

I do wish that the book included a section that detailed the park's conception and construction, as well as a chronological time-line or some sort of chronological section that also offered more of a general history of the park aside from the attractions. It also only includes photos the author personally took during a 2007 trip to the park, so expect to search online for images of the many now-closed attractions that you will learn about in this book.

That being said, what the book does, it does very well. It will make you wish you could go back and experience the park as it was. After reading this book, when you visit the park, you'll be able to get a good mental picture of how the park evolved through the many decades of change and renovation.
