Buy this if you are starting an online class or program. Buy this if you are teaching an online course. This 'cheat-sheet' gives practical tips about how to study and prepare for online 'and instructional tv' courses. It has best practices for students. These 'Top 10' practices are very helpful. For instance, it discusses how to set up a study place and time. It also help you calculate the study time necessary, online etiquette, and other tips about what your professor expects from you. It is an excellent source for faculty and students to use when taking an online class -- it clarifies expectations. It would be good for a class to use at the front end of an online program or class. It would open up great discussions. Sure, all the background material is here too -- when online classes started, how they grew, what to watch out for, etc. Best aspect -- the 'Best Practices' -- a list for students and a different list for faculty. Was this review helpful?
