Excellent story but too short

This was meant as a lead in to the last Walt Longmire mystery (As The Crow Flies). It is a great short story but it is VERY short. There is also a preview of "As the Crow Flies". It was a fun extra but it is a little short for the money.

There were 48 pages but most of that was taken up with the table of contents and a sneak peek chapter of the next book. The short story was too short.

    A divorce horse

Out of 48 pages you get a 17 page story. I have all of craig johnsons books and will buy the next one but this was a rip off of $4.00.

Most writers give things like this away to their devoted readers

Most writers give things like this away to their devoted readers. This reminds me of stuff I cut from my own writing, not to be seen by anyone. And I love this guy's books.
