This book was pretty booring. Im so sorry to the auther of the book, i usualy dont say bad things. But this book was a total waste of mytime. To many referances to the show, on elike every page. The plot was okay, but could have handeled it better. The text just doesnt flow like a regular doctor who book, and the doctor doesnt remind me of the doctor, probabaly why there are so many refrences to the show because that is the only way you know you are reading a doctor who book. Over all i would not have apent the money on the book, and i would not recomend it to anybody. Even for a halloween book, this is a far from good.

The Doctor comes to the U.S.
The story is a standard Who formula, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth the read. The Doctor has, as usual, stumbled upon a mystery in a New England town invoving a mysterious book, green mist and American teenagers. Unfortunately, the story has done nothing for the Doctor's love of cats!<BR/><BR/>The author did a great job of voicing the Doctor and Martha, it was easy to visualize them as the story progressed.<BR/><BR/>The only thing I consider wrong with the book is that the author did not consider how American teenagers might react to the situation. Not so much of the Doctor appearing, but the fact that the teenagers took everything at face value, including the use of British terms which should have puzzled them.<BR/><BR/>Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes, I would. Is it a keeper? Well, of course, any Who fan will gladly add it to their collection.

Worthwhile read
Good book, clever and love the halloween mood! The kids are written a little older than their ages, but that doesn't take away from the story. Felt just like watching an episode.

Terrifying good fun
A wonderful treat for Halloween, it is a wonderful story and very funny as well. You can never get enough of the Doctor and Martha Jones.
