It's like a sad movie with a good ending

It's a story of a girl who tries to survive with a terrible family, yet has the will to keep reaching her goals. She befriends a man who helps her keep her sanity among a family of prediters. The characters protrayed in this book cross paths for an ultimate and climatic ending. It has graphic, violent, and sexual content.

    275 pgs

Suspensful book, well written especially for a free book. Hard to read in some spots due to graphic and sad parts about the young girl's repeated assaults.

    Very dusturbing.

This book is very disturbing. It is filled with violence and pathos. It is for adults only. In fact, I don't think I am old enough to read it and I am a baby boomer. There is every type of abuse and crime conceivable in this novel. It made me very uncomfotable. Some parents should be locked away and abused themselves. For readers 18 and up due to adult content. I wish I had skipped this one.

    Too many ridiculous errors

I don't understand how an author, a weaver of tales, a peddler in words, does not know the difference between : loose and lose- assess and access. There were other mistakes. The story was fairly stupid and the plot seemed like an after thought to the violence.

    Good book

Some violent and disturbing situations; but very well written, paced well. After I read my first book from this author I bought all the rest of her books that were available. Not a disapointment in the bunch.
