WOW! What a wonderful peek into world of Down syndrome!
Never having the opportunity to spend much time around a Down syndrome person I was thrilled to finally read a book written in 1st person about a young man who has Down syndrome. It takes a minute to understand his tone of speaking, but by making the effort the reward was oh sooooooo rewarding! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. From this moment on I will never feel sorry for someone who has a child with Down syndrome. They are uniquely warm and passionate about life. Donovan's insights are amusing and captivating. His thoughts about what happened that summer are very special. After reading Donovan & the Big Hole I feel like I know someone with Down syndrome!
