I've never held onto a book so dearly as this one, reading each

I've never held onto a book so dearly as this one, reading each moment I had to spare. Written with ease and clarity, I felt I was right there in the house, drawn into the story as though I could feel what she did. I believe in “spirits”, and may have had an experience, at least one I can't explain. I've ready many stories about spirits but never one written with truth and love. Awesome!

The most positive ghost/spirit book I've read....

I read this book almost everyday and it got better with every page. I love the way McConnell writes, its honest, fun and very descriptive. Her Medwestern/Southern charm comes through the page and it just made me laugh so hard. I am not a mother myself but this book really pulled at my 'maternal' heart strings. I really enjoyed the positive light that Kathleen writes about her 'other children.'

    A wonderful book

This is a heartwarming book about a woman who moves into a new home, only to find that the spirits of three children already inhabit it. It is the story of how she came to know, love, and nurture them as her own. You will be moved to tears as you read how she had to prepare to move away and leave them behind. I cried right along with the author and enjoyed every word that she wrote about her true-life experience.

    Spiritually Heartwrenching & Enlightening

Not a family I will soon forget. I feel a profound story has been unveiled about relationships that can be possible with the spirit world. Who could have known such heartwrenching emotion (both sorrow and happiness) existed between our realm & theirs. I gasped, laughed and cried many tears during this story. Reminded of the power of us (ordinary people)And reminded of the power of God and how He can sometimes plan extraordinary things for us; whether we're ready or not!

This is a great, very believable book!

I had never really decided if I believed in 'ghosts' or not, but this book has convinced me! To add to that, the book is very well written and completely captured me attention. I was so captivated by it I neglected my household duties because I couldn't put it down! Everyone should read this book, even if they don't believe in 'ghosts', if only because it's such heart-warming story. By the end of the book I felt like I knew the entire family personally.
