Normally I don't really "do" audio, but this one made

Normally I don't really "do" audio, but this one made an exception. But I don't actually mean that in a good way. If I hadn't gotten this from Netgalley originally and if I would've had ANYTHING else to listen to while opening at work, I probably wouldn't have listened to it.
But it actually didn't have anything at all to do with the narration. Seeing as I don't listen to many, I guess I don't really know the difference between a really good one and a really bad one. But this one seemed fine to me. The narrator sounded like a teenage girl and the boys she did sounded like they hadn't hit puberty yet, but it still sounded ok to me.
Another thing that kept me listening was the humor. Had I not been laughing the entire time I was listening and preparing myself for a long work day, I probably wouldn't have kept listening. Because although it seemed so funny, it was also very childish. Although they had all this messy high school drama, they all acted like middle school kids. Like really someone STILL obsessed with boobs? At some point boys do grow out of that.
In short, this was a really weird read. I probably won't be reading the next installment, but this one was fun while it lasted. Hats off to it for being the first audio book I have finished that I've never read before!
