candidate jessie venturias blueprint for the white house
"dont start the revolution with out me" is a very intresting book and very hard to put down. it is governor venturias vision for what he wants for a possible run for the white house. this bestseller has an exellent blue print for the voters for a blue print for a 3rd party. I got to read this recently and got to know this candidate and were he stands on the issues. I feel it is really great for everyone to get educated and one of the best ways is to read the candidates books.

Impossible to enjoy on a Nook
The documents are not able to be enlarged on the Nook and the text is too small to read. Very much enjoyed the book, but when I am unable to read the documents I bought the book to read it renders this purchase almost pointless.

Very Disappointing
I don't think I have ever been more disappointed with a book than this one. Ventura's book is clearly an example of a man using his name recognition for the sole purpose of making money! This book is all about him and has nothing to do with saving our citizens from this "out of control" corrupt government as the title suggest. Given the sad state of recent Minnesota politics, I am beginning to understand how he got into the governor's office in the first place. This man is no savior of any kind; he is simply another liberal masquerading as an independent. He is just another self-serving politician interested only in fulfilling his own personal agenda. It is an incredibility-disappointing book.

This is a fun book to read
This is a fun and interesting book. I stayed up late a few nights just so I could read yet another chapter. Ventura tells you the story of his years as Govenor of Minnesota, and what he has done since that time. He is a very down to earth guy with a great sense of humor. I live in the neighboring State of Wisconsin, I wish we had a Govenor like Ventura instead of the clowns we have had. I very much agree with him on how useless this two party system of Democrats and Republicans is. He has it right on how slanted and skewed Fox News is. He hits the nail on the head about the Christian right, how phoney and corrupt they really are. The book is filled with interesting anecdotes from his Navy Seal days, wrestling days, time as Govenor, and his fellowship at Harvard. Ventura can think for himself. He doesn't buy the official line about Oswald acting alone in the JFK assasination. He questions what we have been told about the events of 911. From reading this book, it is clear that Ventura is an intelligent guy. Somebody who is always ready for the next challenge that life has. I agree with him on almost everything. The only area where Ventura and I part ways is where he buys into Al Gore's 'Global Warming' crusade. As skeptical and independently thinking as Ventura is I'm surprised he bought that. He ends the book with him thinking about running for President as an Independent in the 2008 race. I hope he does run for President. It would be great to have someone who can actually think in the White House.

Disappointing
Man, I feel as if he's gotten off track of being truly independent and come more and more into the camp of the far left. The differences between this book and his first 'I Ain't Got Time To Bleed', which I loved, are so vastly different I feel as if he's just not the same person he used to be. I dont feel as if he can call himself an Independent any longer when 95% of his arguments are spent bashing just Republicans. It saddens me to say that he must give it up... he's no longer a fellow Independent, but simply just another Democrat in disguise.

So Inspiring! So Powerful!
A great book! I was truly shocked reading about some of his encounters with other members of the U.S. Government. This guy is a true American,,, period. A true patriot. Keep speaking Jesse, people are waking up! Thank you.
