Do you know that high you achieved when you heard your absolute favorite song on the radio, while driving your first car to your first love's house, to make out on his twin bed in his basement bedroom while his parents were gone? I CHASE that high. So does the main character in Dunn's book, in a way. I love that she returns to her old room, her old music, and her old comfortable high school life, just like I have been doing this entire summer. I found each character in this book real, and completely endearing, especially the main character, who is flawed and likeable. I think the ending was perfection. I don't want to give it away, but is was written with a spot-on authenticity I really admired. Enjoy! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I loved Jancee's memoir and actually pre-ordered this book. I was not disappointed! 'Don't You' has the same mix of humor and touching moments as her first. Plus I know so many people who are still obsessing about their high school days, even after all these years. Perfect for summer! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
