Down in New Orleans by Heather Graham is a great romantic suspense novel.  Once you start this book, you will not want to put it down until you reach the last page.

Ann Marcel has a close relationship with her ex-husband, Jon, and when he finds himself in trouble, lying in a hospital bed in a coma under the suspicions of murder, Ann takes it upon herself to prove his innocence.  She finds herself close to the annoyingly handsome detective, Mark Lacrosse, who practically has Jon hung for the murder without any real evidence. Can Ann find the evidence to prove Jon’s innocence and convince Mark that Jon did not do it?

This novel grips the reader from the very first page and refuses to let the reader put the book down until they are finished.  The imaginative details help the read to feel as if they are right there alongside Ann trying to prove Jon’s innocence.  This is a must read for any romantic suspense fan.
