Unique, thoughtful and helpful . . . well worth reading

As a fellow writer I deeply appreciate how Dr Judith Orloff bares her 'soul' in bringing her message to her readers. In touching story after story from her own life, Dr Orloff takes you to the different aspects of Second Sight. I found this work to be eminently worth reading and even more valuable if one studies it closely. My only criticism is that this talented person could have been more pointed in discussing the methods the reader might use to emulate her. Her subsequent book. 'Intuitive Healing' is on its way to me and I am eagerly anticipating that it will be more direct about self development of what the title promises. It is rare to read the work of someone who expresses personal feelings so expertly and strongly. This ability certainly enhances the effort.

    Enchantingly Enriching

Orloff speaks of the world in a way we all experience, yet rarely acknowledge. She offers specific evidence and tasks to transform our lives on all levels utilizing our inner senses as well as our outer. Her approach is unique and boldly courageous, yet easily comprehensible. A grand mix of internal, intuitive cues coupled with examples from her own life and psychiatric practice. A Life 101 course for each of us -a grand find!

    Excellent read for anyone

This book is a must have. It breaks through all of the nonsense and actually helps. It is the first book that I have read that really explains intuition and gives examples of how and why. I will get this book for friends as a gift, it is an asset to an library.

Clear and intelligent description of Intuition and its Power to heal body and mind

This book is a personal yet clear description of intuition and the role that it can play in everyone's life. Judith Orloff's words themselves carry healing and love within them. It is clear that she has a profound understanding of the mystery of intuition and sincerely wishes to transmit the benefits that it can bring to the reader. Moreover she makes a strong argument for why intuition needs to be brought back into medecine. Medecine is not just about the administration of pills, it goes beyond that into deeper understanding of what disease really is and how psychological and spiritual issues need to be adressed in the process of healing. A terrific read, a complete page-turner, unforgettable! Thank you Dr. Orloff!

A Psychic Doctor's Five Steps to Improved Intuition

With warmth, humor, and poignant examples from her own life, Dr. Orloff presents a rational case for the value of intuition, by describing five easy steps to follow for paying attention to our beliefs, body, subtle energy, inner guidance and dreams. Many of us receive early warning signs of troubled relationships and problems with our health, yet find it difficult to recognize and heed the wisdom we have access to. If you've ever wondered how to differentiate between hearing true inner guidance and suffering from an over-active imagination, this book is for you! Orloff also provides invaluable tips for how to get clear intuitive 'reads' in the most trying times and challenging situations. One of the things that impressed me most about INTUITIVE HEALING is Orloff's courage to present the advantages of psychic intuition directly to the medical community, in a culture that historically has denigrated all things psychic. Orloff builds a crystal-clear case for the value of intuition, which often is the best (and sometimes the only) source of accurate and timely information in life-or-death situations. Orloff describes how we need not fear death, but can learn to access tremendous reserves of strength by welcoming the energy of death into our lives and learning to better understand death on an intuitive level. INTUITIVE HEALING is priceless for anyone in need of medical care, and equally valuable to those who simply desire to develop intuitive abilities. I give this book my highest recommendation!
