Rebecca York is a master at blending romance, fantasy and suspense. I have enjoyed her romantic suspense for many years and, for the most part, York's werewolf series is no exception. One eagerly looks forward to each new chapter in the lives of the Marshalls, a family of werewolves whose mates often possess psychic abilities. I was fully engrossed in this installment up until the last 50 pages. That is where the plot began to unravel with some confusion in both the characters and action. What could have been a phenomenal read was rendered merely okay with the author's inability to keep track of her own story and characters, leaving me feeling disappointed in the ending. Was this review helpful?
